Jagadguru Kripaluji Maharaj born on October 1922 in Allahabad.

He was a Hindu spiritual leader. He was the preceptor of Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat, a worldwide Hindu non-profit, religious, educational and charitable organization with 5 main spiritual centers - four in India and one in the USA. Jagadguru Kripaluji Maharaj Radha Madhav Dham was one of the largest Hindu Temple complexes in the Western Hemisphere, and the largest in North America.

A spiritual master and a poet-saint of modern times, Shree Kripaluji Maharaj has influenced thousands of devotees around the world in the path of Bhakti Marg, the path of love or devotion to God.

He received the title of Jagadguru (world teacher) at the age of 34 by Kashi Vidvat Parishad (the oldest and most recognised body of Varanasi's intellectuals) on Makar Sankranti day, January 14, 1957.

Spiritual guru Jagadguru Kripalu Maharaj on Friday November 11, 2013 passed away at a private hospital in Gurgaon following a brain injury.

The 91-year-old Jagadguru Kripalu Maharaj Ji was flown in from Allahabad on November 11, 2013 in a critical condition and was on ventilator support.

An emergency surgery was performed on him for an 'acute subdural haemotoma' or brain injury, which he developed after he slipped in his Ashram few days back.

He passed away at 7.05 am on Friday November 11, 2013 at a private hospital in Gurgaon.

He was the preceptor of Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat, a worldwide Hindu non-profit organisation with five main spiritual centers, four in India and one in the USA.
